María Manuela was born in Nicaragua. Over the past 15 years, she has been dedicated to supporting and facilitating advocacy, coordination, partnerships, and research processes led by Indigenous women in decision-making spaces. She holds a master’s degree in project management and has studies in Indigenous Peoples, Human Rights, Governance, and International Cooperation. Passionate about social justice, María Manuela firmly believes that it can be achieved through personal contributions to collective efforts.
