Jillie Karl Basan is an Isnag Indigenous woman from Apayao, Philippines. She brings lived and ground experience in her long involvement in Indigenous-led initiatives for conservation, governance, and human rights. She currently serves as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of Indigenous Peoples Rights International (IPRI).
