Cindy Kobei is a lawyer and Indigenous Peoples’ rights advocate from the Ogiek community of Kenya. Her work centers on advocacy, corporate accountability, research and project coordination across Africa, Asia and Latin America. She is passionate about amplifying Indigenous voices in national, regional and global spaces. Prior to joining IPRI, she worked and collaborated with various organizations in contributing to initiatives on championing for inclusion, capacity strengthening, women’s rights, land rights, and climate resilience among others. Cindy enjoys traveling, and exploring different cuisines.
