The National Articulation of Indigenous Women Warriors of Ancestrality (ANMIGA) is a network of Indigenous women from all biomes of Brazil, whose knowledge, traditions, and struggles come together, uniting women mobilized to defend the rights and lives of Indigenous peoples.

Main areas of work

  • Climate emergency and how it affects the Body-Territories of Indigenous Women.
  • Violence against the Body-Territories of Indigenous Women.

Communities with which they work:

  • Seven Brazilian biomes: Atlantic Forest, Amazon, Cerrado, Caatinga, Pantanal, Pampa, and Coastal.
